CFP, ChFC, EPC Jim joined London Life Insurance Company in 1985 after completing his BBA at St Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1999, his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 2001 and his Elder Planning Counsellor (EPC) in 2003. Jim served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors from 1994 – 1999. Currently Jim is the Chairman for the Quinpool Road Mainstreet District Association. In 2003, Jim, John Tompkins and Justin McDonough incorporated their practice to form Matthews McDonough Financial Planning Inc. |
